Ceremony

The ceremony will begin at 2:00PM on November 28th, 2026. Doors will open at 1:30pm. There is an elevator located in the glass vestibule expansion on the right (east) side of the main entrance. The elevator is known to be slow, so please arrive in advance if accessibility is desired.

The ceremony will include a Catholic Mass and will last approximately one hour. The receiving of the Sacrament of Marriage is extremely important to Alex and Joe, so they hope you are willing to attend with an open heart, mind and spirit - in addition to singing along and celebrating in the presence of God.

Nestled in the small community of Vermillion, MN, this Catholic Church has a rich history and strong ancestral roots for Alex and the Mohrhauser family. The original church was built in 1882 (without permission of the Bishop) by a group of devout German, Irish, and Luxembourg Catholic families.

The current church had its cornerstone laid in 1913 and continues to be part of the tri-parish of Vermillion, New Trier, and Hampton, Minnesota.
